Home Before Your Visit Lesson Ideas

The Greater Kent Historical Museum has much to offer to students of all ages. The Bereiter house will bring students back in time to the early days of Kent. Students will see and feel what it was like to live in a time before computers, television, fast food, and modern medicine. The details of daily life in early Kent will emerge from the museum's collection of historical objects. The museum will bring students closer to the past, and closer to the community.

This section can help teachers plan and execute a smooth, educational visit to the museum.
